I am a freelance writer whose work has appeared in Inc., Fast Company, Money, Corporate Board Member, Reader’s Digest, Real Simple, Saveur, and elsewhere. I have a broad range of interests and have been lucky to write about many of them, including business, technological innovation, sustainability, food and cooking, travel and culture, and kids. In addition to magazine writing, I have worked on copywriting projects for a variety of business clients. In my pre-freelance life, I worked in book publishing and as a copy editor and editor at major consumer magazines. I enjoy cooking, tending my garden, practicing yoga, checking out indie rock shows, and playing my guitar. And how are my parties? Well, let’s just say I’ve written a book on the subject. I live in Burlington, Vermont, recently voted the healthiest “city” (pop. 40,000) in America, where winters are cold, summers are unbelievable, and life is generally pretty excellent.
